Join

At Lighthouse Harbor Church we take membership seriously, so we have a process for joining.

First, participate in a two-hour Membership Class.

We also have an online option available. If you want to do the online class, you'll need to fill out the accompanying packet as you go. To request the packet, you can call, text, or email us.

Second, once you've finished the membership class, fill out the Application for Membership that you receive with your Membership Class materials and get it to Pastor Josh.

​

Third, Pastor Josh will get in contact with you to schedule a Membership Interview. This interview is very simple and is a chance for the pastor to get to know you, to hear your testimony, to confirm that you are a Christian, and to ensure that you fully understand what it means to be a member of Lighthouse Harbor Church.

Next, get baptized. If you haven't already been baptized by immersion after trusting Christ, this is something you must do before officially joining the church (click here to read what we believe about baptism). If you have already been baptized as a believer, you don't need to do it again.

Finally, the other members will vote during the next members' meeting to affirm you as a new member. We do this because membership is a two-way street: you commit to the church and the church commits to you.
