Worship
Services
Sunday - 11 A.M.
This is our main worship gathering during the week.
What to Expect
We meet in the sanctuary which you can access through the double doors on the east side of the building.
Most people arrive at around 10:45 to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with each other.
Service begins at 11 with announcements and prayer. One of our members will read a passage from the Bible, then we recite the Apostles' Creed together.
We then sing several songs of worship from throughout Christian history including old hymns, "Contemporary," and modern songs that you might have heard on the radio.
Then comes the sermon, which usually ranges from 30-45 minutes. After that, we dismiss.
The whole thing lasts about 75 minutes.
You won't be called on, singled out, or put on the spot. We want you to feel comfortable coming in, observing, and participating as you're able.
For Kids
We welcome children of all ages in our service, but children's church is available for Kindergarten and younger kids during the sermon portion of the service. (It's totally optional, and your kids can stay with you if you'd prefer).
Your kids' safety is really important to us. All of our "Kids' Church" volunteers are carefully screened, vetted, trained, and background checked.
We also have a "Mom's Room" upstairs where you can nurse your baby or take them if they are fussy. There is an audio feed of the service in this room, so that you don't have to miss out on anything.
What to Wear
Come as you are. There is no dress-code or expectation at Lighthouse Harbor Church. Pastor Josh usually wears jeans and a polo shirt. Some people dress a little "nicer" than that; some dress more casually. You will not be out of place in shorts and a t-shirt or in a suit and tie.
What to Bring
Just bring yourself.
If you have a Bible, you can bring it, too. If you don't have a Bible, we have one for you - and you can keep it.
We would love to meet you this Sunday at 11am!
